Better Deal
This one was had a very strange inception. I wanted to show this great action moment with some superimposition yet I had a lot I wanted to say in the dialogue. I may end up tweaking this and stretching some of the words over the next couple pages in an action sequence so if you read it before I change my mind then you got a treat.

Guess I got treated to the original here… I like it, actually. The juxtaposition of Kitty’s soliloquy against her shouting “NO!” is great for showing that the one word scream really has a lot of meaning behind it. If you do change it, I hope you keep the same feel to it somehow.

I can’t think of any way you could make it better aside from posting the same exact page every day this week. Yeah, I liked it.
Hope she remembers all that when he gets all the blood and guts washed off, heh.

You’ve doubled up the “sent” in that last sentence.
Good stuff though, I like the composition.

The first sentence on the bottom- “My grandfather was a hero for the sake of just” – should it be coming? back alive.
If there is discussion on changing this page, I say leave it as is.

good stuff, but could you please maybe, just maybe, make Kitty a tiny bit less useless? So far she really hasn’t done much except been annoying and I’m getting bored.

I just finished inking one for this week. As far as up dates go the last couple of months have been really hairy. as it stands right now I’m working on
Bottle of Awesome for D.C.’s zuda which will go for at least another year.
Kill Shakespeare for IDW which is a 12 issue monthly book that will drop spring 2010
Dead Goombas for Oni Press which is a graphic novel
and Raising Hell.
Raising Hell is a labor of love and which I do as often as I can.
The good news is I’ve hired an assistant who does all the lovely coloring for me so that will keep me at the boards all the time. I fell behind on stuff but as of this week we should be back on track. I’ve got a ton of stuff on the go so bear with me. This story is going to rock.

This panel/page is perfect. I love it as is, but I’m sure if you decide to change it, there will be a good reason for it. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
